NAVHDA 40th Anniversary

Versatile Hunting Dog magazine wants you to help us celebrate NAVHDA’s 40th Anniversary! Snap and send your best photographs to enter the big contest. We are looking for nice, sharp photos in the following three categories: Puppies, youth handlers with dogs, and dogs. Prizes will be awarded for the best three photographs in each of the categories with an additional prize for the best entry from all three categories. Keep in mind that your photo could appear on the cover or in the pages of a future
VHD issue. Vertical pictures are the preferred format for cover photos, but horizontal photos are also acceptable.
Submitted photographs must be 3"x5" or 4"x6" prints. No electronic submissions will be considered. Your photos will not be returned. All NAVHDA members are encouraged to enter, but there is a limit of two entries per member per class. Be sure to include your dog or puppy’s name, age and breed, as well as your name, address and phone number. Do not write information on the back of the photo with a ballpoint; please use a sticky note or peel off tape. If there is already writing on the back, cover it with the tape or sticky note in order to keep the judging impartial. Please write about the picture on a separate sheet and send it along with the application, a couple of paragraphs will do.
